I care about this because I had a good friend killed in a driving accident, and I don't want any more of my friends to die.

I am involved in Keep the Drive through work at school and 4H. I have presented many presentations on safe driving.

Other teens should join because it is a fun way to change the world, meet lots of new people and SAVE LIVES.

It rocks because it is a worthy cause, and it lets you make as large of an impact as you want in a fun way!

What I'm doing to save lives:

I am learning the facts, spreading the word, and changing my old habits while encouraging others to do the same.

Why I care about the teen driving issue:

Being a teen myself, it is close to home, and it is a problem I can help solve.

How I'm involved with Keep the Drive:

I am part of the Keep the Drive Crew and have been helping with activism activities for the past two years at my school.

Keep The Drive rocks because it gives teens the chance to really make a difference in the world. We can help influence and shape others’ driving habits and save lives in the process.

What I'm doing to save lives:

To help save lives, Parker and I are getting the word out at our school by writing news articles, putting up posters, having students sign pledges, talking to kids in the Driver's Ed. classes, and passing out cell phone sticky pads or key chains to students leaving the parking lot!

Why I care about the teen driving issue:

I care about the teen driving issue because it's so sad that more than 4,000 teens die each year in the United States due to accidents caused by distracted driving. That's a big number, and I don't want any of my friends to be part of that statistic.

How I'm involved with Keep the Drive:

I'm involved with Keep the Drive by doing activities around the school to promote safe driving. I've done the training for Keep the Drive and participate in the conference calls. I also used the statistics on the Keep the Drive Web site to write an article.

Why you should join Keep the Drive:

Other teens should join Keep the Drive because the more teens that support the cause, the more lives we can help to save!

What I'm doing to save lives:

I work with a club I started in my school to raise awareness and challenge my peers to be smart drivers.

Why I care about the teen driving issue:

Nobody I am close to has been in a severe car crash before, and I would like to keep it that way. This issue truly has an impact on anyone who has ever driven in a car. One driver's actions have the potential to affect hundreds of others.

How I'm involved with Keep the Drive:

This is my third year as a member of the Keep the Drive crew.

It is a great cause and a great organization. This issue needs as much attention as possible.

What I'm doing to save lives:

My co-chair and I have done a lot to help with this cause. We started a club at our school to get a good base of people for the Keep the Drive activities we do. Also, we have held various contest and activities to include the school, which helps get the word out.

Why I care about the teen driving issue:

I am a teen, and I dislike how we seem to be respected less in society. And, this is an issue that I can impact just by getting the word out.

This is my second year with Keep The Drive. By now my co-chair and I have done a lot of activities.

I'm a National Crew Member and our student government is putting on activities to promote safe driving.

What I'm doing to save lives:

By being a member of the Keep the Drive Teen Drive Crew, I am helping promote safe driving habits. Also, by spreading the statistics, I am preventing accidents. If you know that you're more likely to get in a crash if you text and drive then why would you do it? People don't WANT to get hurt, so I'm showing them ways to avoid it.

Why I care about the teen driving issue:

At the age of 16, my brother was involved in a near death car crash. I know how devastating it can be to have someone you love hurt, and I want to keep that horror from other families.

How I'm involved with Keep the Drive:

I am putting on presentations and spreading the information about driving distractions.

The more teens that join the national movement, the more lives that can be saved.

What I'm doing to save lives:

I am active in Keep the Drive and telling students locally how to drive safer.

The reason I care about the teen driving issue is simple; it could be me. It could be me that gets in that accident.

How I'm involved with Keep the Drive:

I'm involved with Keep the Drive in many ways. I help organize and hold events every month, and I work with others to get the word out about Keep the Drive to teens.

Other teens should join Keep the Drive because it's an amazing program setup for teens to help save their lives. So why not give some back and help others?

Because I get the chance to save teens' lives through education about safe driving.

To save lives, I am an active member of the community and constantly reminding everyone of the dangers of unsafe driving in a cool and unique way.

I care about safe teen driving because one of my friends died as a result of unsafe driving and I would like to prevent anyone else from meeting that same fate.
