Why Keep the Drive rocks:
It strives to keep teens safe. I'm a teen. Anyone who is willing to help me succeed and better my life rocks, pure and simple.
What I'm doing to save lives:
I practice safe driving skills, focus and pay attention while I'm driving, and do not take risks that could possibly injure my life or the life of others. I also am the president of a school organization that tries to limit or stop the risks that teens take. I also do not allow people to drink and drive.
Why I care about the teen driving issue:
My friends are teens. I'm a teen. My sister was a teen. We have more driving deaths than any other age group. I do not want myself or any of my friends to become a driving death statistic. I am more than just a number. I want others to feel the same way that I do.
How I'm involved with Keep the Drive:
I'm going to Chicago to rally support for Keep the Drive. I practice safe driving techniques and try to convince my friends do to the same. As president of the program that I participate in at school, we try to teach people to be safe and not take risks that are detrimental to their health or anyone else's.
Why you should join Keep the Drive:
This does not just affect one person, it affects everyone. People have teenage children, cousings, family, or friends. Everyone is negatively affected when someone dies. This is all about keeping people safe. I value my life and I think a lot of other people do too. You should join if not for your family and friends, then for yourself.
