We all know that prom, graduation and summer are some of the best times of the year. But what you may not know is that the summer is also a deadly time of year for teens on the road. In honor of National Youth Traffic Safety Month in May, teens everywhere raised their voices about teen driving through Keep the Drive's Act Out Loud contest.

Teens from across the country submitted their project ideas, and the top 10 teams executed their original activism projects while blogging about the whole thing. Project videos were unveiled online on May 1 to kick off National Youth Traffic Safety Month, and votes from across the country determined the winners:

1st place ($10,000 and a $5,000 grant for the non-profit national
youth organization of their choice): Bloomingdale High School
2nd place ($5,000): Notre Dame Preparatory
3rd place ($3,000): The Oxford Academy
